The Lemmata table

The Lemmata table contains all lemmata which have been identified in the process of morphosyntactical analysis. We will provide more information on the definition of a lemma later. Currently, a lemma is only represented by a headword, i.e., an uninflected form that may or may not occur in the corpus itself (but of which inflected variants do occur). For example, the lemma reich represents the adjective reich (with all its inflectional forms), while the lemma Reich represents the noun Reich (with all its forms).

The Lemmata table also provides access to lemma frequencies, where the frequency of a lemma is the total of the frequencies of all Types associated with this lemma.
